TV Adaptations of Anne Rice's books

Has anyone been watching The Mayfair Witches series, series 2 nearly finished now on BBC1 in the UK.  It's absolutely atrocious, I just about managed to get through the first series, but this one is even worse, a total travesty of the books.

 

I didn't mind Interview with the Vampire once I got used to the changes they made,although the 2nd series was far too talky and introspective, which are features that dragged down some of the later books in the series, but the Witches is virtually unrecognisable from the books.  Have given up on the series now.

I haven’t read The Mayfair Witches nor seen the series so can’t comment on that but I did read Interview With the Vampire and The Vampire Lestat and enjoyed the recent TV series. (It has been a long time since I read them)
