Deanscroft Posted April 28, 2008 Posted April 28, 2008 Can anyone help me please. Many years ago, about 20 I think, I read a novel which has always stuck in my mind. Regretably I cannot remember the title or the author, only the content. I would love to revisit it. Does anyone have any thoughts on a novel set in Spain during the 2nd World War. A young man is recruited to travel to England to obtain information on Military targets and pass them back for German action. The young man however doesn't go to England but makes up his reports by studying maps and very good guess work. This all goes very well untill he hears that a second agent has been recruited to check his reports. He is then forced to locate and kill the other agent. If anyone has any idea where this is from I would love to know. Many thanks Deanscroft Quote

The Green Fairy Posted May 14, 2008 Posted May 14, 2008 There is a book entitled 'Garbo' which is a true story of a Spanish spy and is set in the Second World War. I don't know if this is what you are looking for. Quote
Deanscroft Posted May 15, 2008 Author Posted May 15, 2008 Many thanks for your reply but I am certain it was fiction. Regards Deanscroft Quote
