Hi there, I am another refugee from the BGO forum who saw this forum described on a Facebook post yesterday as a "welcoming place". :)

I read loads of stuff, but in fiction I tend towards things written and/or set in the period 1910-1950(ish). Having said that I am getting in to graphic novels as well right now!

Looking forward to getting back in to some bookish conversation.

I read a lot of books . Have been reading a lot of books from a very young age . When I skipped school , I'd head for the library . When life was hard , I read a lot of books , usually written by folks who knew . When life was easier , I read about that too . Thank goodness books taught me  the difference between one and the other .

I am Canadian, got winter in my blood .
