kateleopald
There's a book coming out this year that I was very fortunate to read a draft of (long story, but my sister's quite well connected!!). It's called Sewerside Chronicles by Tim Lay and is going to be a cult classic.

kay_loves_purple
The only book I know will be out in 2009 and am mildly excited about is the 7th book in the Outlander series, An Echo in the Bone. It's scheduled for autumn though so there's still a long wait ahead.
frankie
The books that will be published in 2009 and in which I'm interested are the sequel to The Shadow of the Wind by Carlos Ruiz Zafon and the paperback version of The Art of Racing in the Rain by Garth Stein.
