2021 Booker Prize Longlist

The 2021 Booker Prize Longlist has been released:

Any thoughts and comments on the list? Would also be interested to hear if anyone has read any of the books on the list and their review. I'm personally very happy to have another Richard Powers book to read; he is one of my all-time favourite authors.

I must not have been paying very much attention to book releases this year because I haven't heard of any of them! I've also never read anything by Richard Powers so going to look him up now

I think I recognise 3 of the authors names from previous work but I haven’t read any of the long listed books.

In the last few years, I've read three books purely because they were nominated for this prize.

 

All three were tedious and forgettable.
