Laramie
I read this a few months ago; very good, but I kept forgetting who the characters were and if they were good or not I think I'll re-read it soon. Oh, I'll re-read it after Christmas, cuz I think my parents are buying them for me
Janet
Did you watch the TV adaptation, DWMG? I did - I thought it was really poor compared to last year's Ruby in the Smoke. Not the acting, but the way they'd adapted the book. I know they couldn't fit it all into 90 minutes, but it seemed so very rushed to me. Mia
I watched the adaptation last night. I actually preferred it to The Ruby in the Smoke, as it was faster-paced (I found Ruby... quite tedious), though as Janet says I don't think it was a very good adaptation. I can't remember the book too well, but I'm sure there was loads they left out. Still, I enjoyed it! The Tin Princess is the only one of the set I haven't read yet, so I'd better get on with it (it's been on my TBR pile for about 3 years). Laramie
I didn't watch it; I was watching something else.
