Inver Posted November 1, 2007 Share Posted November 1, 2007 :character0104:This is a good stand-by store cupboard type tea. 3tblsp veg oil 2 cloves garlic 1 med onion chopped 1 red and 1 green pepper (diced, both optional) 1 Mattessons Smoked Pork Sausage (diced) 2-3 tsp mild chilli powder (adjust to how you like it) 1 large can chopped tomatoes 1 tsp tomato puree 1 small tin pre-cooked kidney beans drained (I use a large) 1 tsp mixed herbs, salt & pepper to season :chef:Method:chef: Heat oil and garlic in a large pan, gently cook the onions (and peppers if using) for 5 mins. Add the sausage pieces and heat for a further minute or so. Next add the chilli powder and stir well to coat meat and onions are coated. Add tomatoes, tomator puree, kidney beans and herbs.
