chesilbeach Posted October 18, 2017 Posted October 18, 2017 Been listening to an early Harry Connick, Jr. album today. Forgotten how much I loved his trio and solo piano work. Quote
chesilbeach Posted October 27, 2017 Posted October 27, 2017 We've got a subscription to a music streaming service now, so I've been trying to vary my listening a bit more, and this week I've listened to some choral works from the seventeenth century, classic flamenco guitar from the 1970s and some brand new jazz albums! chesilbeach Posted November 28, 2017 Posted November 28, 2017 I've been listening to the Eurythmics back catalogue recently - Touch and Savage are my favourite albums of theirs. Touch was released when I was around 13 or 14 and so I've got a real emotional connection to it from my formative years, while Savage is just brilliant at any age! Quote

I hadn't even heard of her until a few months ago when I heard that she was performing at the four day music festival put on by Sigur Ros in Iceland that I went to at the end of last year. Sadly I wasn't able to stay for the full four days and so I missed her show. I won't make that mistake again. Quote
