Proposal to remove import restrictions on books in Australia

I can only base my opinion on this article as it's the first I've read of it, but if the proposed changes go ahead, I can't see how Australian publishers could survive?

I'm always curious about how different countries laws affect publishing and book selling, so I thought it was a really interesting article to read, and thought I'd share it here.

Very interesting article. Thanks for sharing. It's all a bit confusing to me, but frankly I'm in favour of anything that might help to reduce the price of books in Australia.
