chesilbeach Posted April 4, 2015 Posted April 4, 2015 http://www.theguardian.com/books/2015/apr/02/the-girl-on-the-train-sales-2m-in-three-months I know a few people here have read or are reading this book, and it seems like you're not the only ones! An incredible number of hardbacks sold, considering most people prefer paperbacks for the price and the convenience, but also a lot of ebooks sold too. Quote
bobblybear Posted April 4, 2015 Posted April 4, 2015 I have this on my TBR pile, but I guess I'll be reading it when the book jar lets me. Quote
muggle not Posted April 4, 2015 Posted April 4, 2015 I have The Girl On The Train on hold at the library. The book is currently #1 in sales in the U.S. Looking forward to reading it. Quote
ladymacbeth Posted April 6, 2015 Posted April 6, 2015 Hi. Is it worth reading? I'm looking for a good read but you never know whether something is worthwhile just because it's popular. Quote
ian Posted April 6, 2015 Posted April 6, 2015 I've just finished reading this. I gave it 3/5 and there were some things I didn't like about it. But the second half picks up and considering this is a first time writer, it's not too bad Quote
poppyshake Posted April 7, 2015 Posted April 7, 2015 It's not without its problems but I think it is worthwhile definitely. Kept me engrossed all the way through. Quote
