frankie
Sounds like you're having an epic time!! So cool that you got to see the recording of one of your favorite TV shows!! And that the gig was so great. It's always inexpressionably (that's a word for sure!!) amazing to hear your favorite band play songs live that you've never heard them play before I hope the show's amazing today, and that everything runs smoothly during the rest of the trip. Have a blast!!!

Karsa Orlong
From Friday night - really never in a million years thought I'd see them play this live . . . The dancer slows her frantic paceIn pain and desperation,Her aching limbs and downcast faceAglow with perspiration Stiff as wire, her lungs on fire,With just the briefest pause —Then flooding through her memory,The echoes of old applause And she limps across the floorAnd closes her bedroom door… The writer stares with glassy eyes —Defies the empty page,His beard is white, his face is linedAnd streaked with tears of rage Thirty years ago, how the words would flowWith passion and precision,But now his mind is dark and dulledBy sickness and indecision And he stares out the kitchen doorWhere the sun will rise no more… Some are born to move the world —To live their fantasiesBut most of us just dream aboutThe things we’d like to be Sadder still to watch it dieThan never to have known it For you — the blind who once could see —The bell tolls for thee…

Chrissy
Excellent photo! I can hear your thought..."I am THIS happy!" ETA If you were to say that you were holding a book in your right hand you could enter this photo into the competition. Karsa Orlong
Um, yeah, of course I was holding a book! It was this one More photos . . . Me and John. I always thought he was a bit wooden Calgary: When we went to the rodeo. I didn't like it (poor horses and steers ) but I guess we had to say we went to the Calgary Stampede. First view of the Rockies! Some bloke got his big head in the way of this photo: The name of this lake caused much amusement: Woman about to be eaten by sneaky dinosaur . . . Karsa Orlong
Still Calgary: Simples! The Saddledome, where we saw Rush Standing on the glass floor of the Calgary Tower Vancouver: The city seen from Stanley Park Capilano suspension bridge. Would've been fine but for the idiot tourists rocking it from side to side (not me, of course! ) The Sky Ride up Grouse Mountain Me at the top of Grouse Mountain. You'd be able to see Vancouver in the distance if my big fat head wasn't in the way This grizzly was trying to sneak up on me by going underwater. Fortunately I was wise to its tricksy ways The Olympic cauldron from Vancouver's 2010 Winter Games The Rogers Arena, on the right, where we saw Rush. Photo taken on the seaplane tour of the city. One Direction were playing the stadium next door on the same night Rush played. I think we got the better part of that deal

I was oohing and aahing, and have shared with husband..."The Rockies! Steve! Bear!" Strange how most of the photos seem to be of trees and mountains, though Great pictures! Did you use a selfie stick in the first one? Yes, I called it 'Mike' I know what you look like now! Nothing like I expected I dread to think what you were expecting Wow what fantastic photos! Glad you're having such a good time. Thanks! It's all over now, though, and I'm back home Wow ! Just WOW ! Those are some pretty magnificent pics ! I just wish I'd realised, all the time in Calgary I had the camera on the VGA setting instead of 5MP Waiting for Mike to get back (he went on to Tokyo and now he's in Dubai) as he took loads of videos, too - including some at the Rush shows
