I started it, and was enjoying what I had read, but I picked a terrible time to start such an involved book, and ended up abandoning it. It's still on my shelf though, I'll definitely go back to it sometime. Quote

Tyrian will always be my favourite though, I think a lot of that has to do with the actor who plays him in the tv series. I found this book a very hard slog. All my favourite characters weren't in it so it was really hard to be engaged with it. It just became something I 'had to get through'. I did read the first book of A Dance with Dragons afterwards but couldn't move on to the second. I think A Feast for Crows killed the series for me a little. At some point I'll have to look up a synopsis of every book to familiarize myself with the plot before I continue on. I know a few people who had similar problems with this book. This pretty much sums up my feelings too; for me, a Feast for Crows is definitely the turning point after which the entire series went downhill. However, there are others who loved it and really enjoyed DWD too, so hopefully you'll carry on enjoying it more than I did. Quote

I am just not as pumped to read it as I was the others, I'd say it's taken me nearly six months to read it, and I am only halfway through. Some of that has to do with my fatigue too, but most times if I am into a book, fatigue won't slow me down as much. Just means I may only read one or two chapters. Quote

I have all her Rain Wild Chronicles but are yet to read them, trying to finish my current fantasy read before I start them.
