Melodious Posted January 17, 2015 Posted January 17, 2015 Such an incredible band. Certainly deserved more attention than they received.

poppyshake Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 A blast from my past . . . Excellent .. brings back good memories
Melodious Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 Cool song, cool video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HBAYr73mlTk Birdland by Weather Report is a great song too Jaco was a true talent.
Marie H Posted January 23, 2015 Posted January 23, 2015 Birdland by Weather Report is a great song too Jaco was a true talent. I defy anyone not to feel happier after hearing Birdland Kiss Me by Tin Tin - the original 1982 release (not the awful 1985 one that made the charts). The original one was mostly known in the West Midlands. Ah, very happy days remembered when I hear this one.... .
Marie H Posted January 25, 2015 Posted January 25, 2015 At The Chime of a City Clock - Nick Drake. ..... .....

frankie Posted January 26, 2015 Posted January 26, 2015 I heard this the first time in ages last weekend and oh boy
dex Posted January 26, 2015 Posted January 26, 2015 Having recently bought Type O' Negative's 6 CD set and Dead Again, I've been enjoying and listening to them. I like Peter's Deep rather than grunty vocal. What other bands have I missed out on? I found this band whilst listening to a band called The Last Lichen who play a Really Good version of Fear of Impending Hell by Paradise Lost and Love You To Death by Type O' Negative. They're supposed to be releasing their own material soon.
Marie H Posted January 27, 2015 Posted January 27, 2015 The Motive - Then Jerico An anthem from 1987, a blast from the past Tupelo - Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds , but a bit.....
Melodious Posted January 27, 2015 Posted January 27, 2015 I've been on a big Nick Cave mission lately. The guy is a whirlwind of talent.
Marie H Posted January 28, 2015 Posted January 28, 2015 I've been on a big Nick Cave mission lately. The guy is a whirlwind of talent. I'm into the early stuff from Nick Cave (The Birthday Party, From Her to Eternity album) at the mo.
Melodious Posted January 28, 2015 Posted January 28, 2015 The first Nick Cave song I ever heard was The Birthday Party. I'm the opposite though, I've been listening to a lot of his later stuff recently and Grinderman. I would really love to see him on the upcoming tour. I saw him last year and it was brilliant.
