Edinburgh street with a gruesome name

I am sure there is a street in Edinburgh called something like slaughter street or murder lane, and I'm sure (though I could be wrong) it was mentioned on this forum some years ago. Does anybody know such a street in Edinburgh?

I think there is a Coffin Lane and a Fleshmarket Close. *shivers*

I read a Young Adult historical novel called Fleshmarket by Nicola Morgan a few years ago which was set in Edinburgh - I seem to remember it being pretty good.

Ah I think Fleshmarket Close is what I'm thinking of. Not quite as gruesome as I'd remembered
