Raven
Oh ok, cool, thanks I just recently got The Colour of Magic on Kindle! They do sound quite interesting books Look forward to reading them. It's the best place to start, but they do get significantly better as they go on. Mort (the 4th book) is excellent, for example.
Hayley
I don't think I'll ever recover from reading The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas! And I second Ravens comment that you should definitely read the Discworld novels. I started by reading 'The Wee Free Men' and have been addicted ever since! What do you think of 'The Mortal Instruments' series? My sister was thinking of buying them last week
TintagliaIceFyre
Hi Hayley thanks, I started The Colour of Magic yesterday, I liked what I read I look forward to reading the others! I don't think I'll ever recover from reading The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas! Ohh, I know, that is such a horribly upsetting ending! What do you think of 'The Mortal Instruments' series? My sister was thinking of buying them last week yeah, I'd definitely recommend The Mortal Instruments; also the prequel series, The Infernal Devices, they're really good as well. They're all quite enjoyable reads, great humour, lots of surprising twists and turns. So yeah, especially appealing if your sister likes Buffy the Vampire Slayer/Supernatural/Angel type things Edited July 20, 2013 by TintagliaIceFyre
