Well, I only got 2/10 but I learned some interesting news!

7 out of 10! (There was some educated and some lucky guessing going on!).

I did get 9/10 this week, but like Raven, that was with a couple of educated and lucky guesses, but what I like about it is that I often find out some news I've missed during the week

I got 5/10, I only knew a few answers and guessed the rest. My excuse is that I haven't read the Waterstone's blog and do not know anything that's going on in the literary world internationally

I don't read the rest of the blog, but I do read the book news on newspaper websites, so that's where I pick up most of my answers from. I've only been following the quiz for a few weeks, and this is my highest score yet!

It is a fun quiz, I like literary quizzes in general and I like it that this is about the literary news of the week I might start checking this out on a regular basis. At least if some people did this and recorded their scores on this thread, then it would keep getting bumped up and more people would remember to do it

That was one of the one's I got wrong, because

 

How could "Carrots" not be a redhead????? Or is that just the televsion version?

Ah chesil it was a trick question, I got it right as they mentioned

 

"not least dyed their hair"

 

She did that once, correct?

 

And yes, she's very much a red-head in the book

 

But I got almost everything else wrong.

 

Three on ten for me too.

I got 6! Woohoo! That's by far my best result. Lots of lucky guesses, though. I think I only knew one answer for sure (and I must thank Frankie for helping me get one right...*wink wink*)
