RPGfreak
My occupations involve coveying my ideas into lectures and written paragraphs. I stumbled upon Benjamin Franklins life story on how he became an accomplished writer and essayist by working on his prose and verse and i never heard these terms before. My grammer is lacking. I dont know what are syllables are, and not what "metre" or "prose" or "verse" is. I tried reading about it, but i dont understand what makes a sentence "weak" and so forth. Is there "writing" 101 out there that tells you what is prose and verse and syllables?
Kylie
Hello RPGfreak. I would recommend buying or borrowing a book about grammar. There are lots of great books out there that explain it all and provide examples. I'm terrible at explaining things myself, but I'm sure someone else will be of more help. Brian.
Whilst not recommending it directly I always find the 'Dummies' series of books to be a great starting point on a variety of subjects.
