pontalba Posted January 30, 2014 Posted January 30, 2014 The one by Keith Luethke? If so, there are a ton of sequels, so maybe not. Darn, how many Zombie Apocalypse books are there lol No, a new author... Sarah Lyons Fleming. Quote
Anna Begins Posted February 8, 2014 Posted February 8, 2014 (edited) In the US the new Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 (mine, which I LOVE) is on sale for $339 for Valentine's Day. The 8.9 HD is only $189. Edited February 8, 2014 by Anna Begins Quote
chaliepud Posted February 16, 2014 Posted February 16, 2014 The Language of Flowers by Vanessa Diffenbaugh is 99p on Kindle today, one of the top ten books I have ever read. Quote
dtrpath27 Posted March 7, 2014 Posted March 7, 2014 I just caught several items for free.on Kindle today: three short stories by Jason Gurley and a book by Patrice Fitzgerald. Most of the rest of Jason Gurley's stories were just 99 cents. I haven't read any of them yet but they all seem to be sci-fi/dystopian sort of pieces and the synopses seem promising. Regardless, you can't beat free! Quote
bobblybear Posted March 7, 2014 Posted March 7, 2014 Just noticed The Cuckoo's Calling by Robert Galbraith is only £0.99 on Kindle. Quote

Athena Posted May 18, 2014 Posted May 18, 2014 That's a great deal! Your link led to me to the deal page with everything but I did a search and found the books. Since I really prefer paperbacks I won't be buying them (I have book four in paperback) on Kindle, but it's a great deal otherwise. Even here in the Netherlands Amazon.com sells them for $1.99 (most of the time it becomes $4 or $5). Quote

chesilbeach Posted July 19, 2014 Posted July 19, 2014 Amazon UK currently have a Kindle summer sale on with up to 80% off some titles, and includes some books that have been popular on the forum, so well worth a look. I've got my eye on We Were Liars by E. Lockhart, Geek Girl by Holly Smale, Love, Nina by Nina Stibbe, and some travel/memoirs among others. The sale runs until 1st September 2014. Quote
Michelle Posted July 19, 2014 Author Posted July 19, 2014 I'd recommend We Were Liars - I wasn't sure during the first part, but then I ended up really liking it - read it before you find out more about it! Quote
Michelle Posted July 19, 2014 Author Posted July 19, 2014 My daughter also loved Geek Girl, and not many books catch her attention. We were also lucky enough to meet Holly Smale last week, and she was lovely. Quote
