Not dwarves from the fantasy genre and children's story, but actual people suffering from illnesses that has stunt their growth... The ones that come to mind at the moment are: "The Dwarf" by Pär Lagerkvist "Mendel's Dwarf" by Simon Mawer "The Tin Drum" by Gunter Grass Tell me more, if you know, please...
