poppy
I wouldn't recommend the second Gone With the Wind book. It's written by a completely different author and very poor in comparison.
TarquinDelouche
If you haven't already read any Oscar Wilde, I'd suggest Dorian Gray as a fantastic introduction. You'll soon find yourself picking up some of his others.

Torrey
I wouldn't recommend the second Gone With the Wind book. It's written by a completely different author and very poor in comparison. But I have 2 Gone with the wind books and they're both from Margaret Mitchell..
bree
Actually the sequel is called Scarlett, and is written by Alexandra Ripley - and poppy is right, it is best skipped. Not very sure what the Gone With The Wind - Volume II shown in your image is! It however looks like the original book was split into two volumes in your edition - in which case you should continue with the second volume and finish the story. monkeybubbles
A vote for Dorian Gray here too. Brilliant book. Edited July 27, 2012 by monkeybubbles
Kylie
I agree with Bree. I think your edition of the book has been split into two volumes. In one volume, it's pretty darn thick. So I vote that you read the second volume of Gone with the Wind.
Ruth
I loved loved loved Gone With the Wind. Haven't read the sequel, but believe that it does not match up to the first one. If it is as others have said, that you have the original GWTW split into two editions, then I would definitely go for that. Definitely. Otherwise - Memoirs of a Geisha is a brilliant book too
chesilbeach
I really enjoyed Memoirs of a Geisha too, so that would get my vote.
