Also maybe a dark version of the bible sounds interesting. I feel like I'm this day and age there has to be something like that out there

I am currently looking for a non poetic version of the odyssey. By that I mean the odyssey in novel format and not something you would read in a classroom. (something dark). If not the odyssey then any Greek/roman mythology story in the same style mentioned above. Any recommendations would be much apreciated.
