  6. Hey, thought VA is about vampires it's quite different from Twilight thought both are set in that fantasy genre. Most people I've talked to said they enjoyed the VA series. If you liked twilight then you definitly will enjoy VA.
  7. I haven't read this series but I really loved the 'Deltora quest' series and other books by the same author. This quote from amazon books Filled with action, adventure, and magic, Emily Rodda's remarkable Deltora series begins right here--with a spectacular new lenticular 3-D cover! The evil Shadow Lord is plotting to invade the land of Deltora and enslave its people. All that stands against him is the magic Belt of Deltora with its seven stones of great and mysterious power. In secrecy, with only a hand-drawn map to guide them, two unlikely companions set out on a dangerous quest. Determined to find the lost stones and rid their land of the Shadow Lord, they struggle toward their first goal--the sinister Forests of Silence. Show More Show Less
  8. Hey everyone, I read alot of books where the main character is female and it's from her perspective. But are there any good books that are from the male's perspective? in the YA/fantasy genre???
  9. I've read The host and I LOVED it... I liked how it was unexpected, there were twists and turns and I like reading not knowing what is about to happen.. There was suppose to be a series but don't know if she has decided not to continue with it. Does anyone know if there will be another book?
  10. Richelle Mead of the 'Vampire academy' series has brought out a spin off series 'Bloodlines'. I just read 'The Golden Lily (#2)' I'm really enjoying this book series and I can't wait for the next book to come out. I think It might be awhile before we see the next book since Richelle has recently became a mom . She's good at building the anticipation in her books leading the reader to want more. Parts of the book hints for possible romantic situations and gets your hopes up, things start to work out for the main characters Richelle pulls the rug out from under your feet. She puts Sydney (main character) in impossible situations and dilemmas that questions what she feels is right and what she is brought up to know. The book ended and I couldn't wait to find out how Sydney is going to deal with her recent dilemma, her heart. I really enjoyed this book and can't wait for no.3 in this series.

  16. Heyya, I'm Lydia new to the book forums and I love reading young adult fiction. My book shelves are filled with different series, at the moment I'm reading City of Lost souls (Immortal instruments) by Cassandra Clare and just finished Golden Lily (Bloodlines series) by Richelle Mead. I go to the book store all the time to see if there are any new books out in the young adult fiction. If you have any suggestions for books especially series I would love to hear them.
