  1. Here's some ideas some were great, others made me gasp in shock! How can you do that to books. http://www.buzzfeed.com/peggy/what-to-do-with-all-those-books#.iil8lEd7P
  2. There is a third heart hidden between the pages of the book. You should come across it when you get to reading it eventually.
  3. I second this!
  4. Happy reading, and all the best in 2015 Hayley!

Thank you for my note too.
  6. Compared to the other books, there doesn't seem like much is happening... Hopefully it picks up, just over halfway.
  7. You could use a pair of tweezers to get the paper out
  8. I think I will take a break from the A Song of Ice and Fire books after I finish A Feast for Crows. Starting to really drag for me now...
  9. I tried to read the first book in the Liveship Traders but I could never get into it, so I skipped the trilogy and went straight onto the Tawny Man trilogy instead. The Liveship Traders aren't essential to the other two trilogies from what I have heard from people who have read all three sets.

Thank you so much for the book Brian, and thank you for the extra book No Time for Goodbye too. I am excited to read it. My sister said to pass on her thanks. Thich Nhat Hanh is one of her favourite Buddhism authors. We love your origami bookmarks! My sister gave me one and she is keeping the other, now my mum wants one too.
  11. Glad you loved it so much! I should try and get to my copy soon.
  12. If there is a sticker I peel it off, if I can't I try and find a copy on BD without one printed on it. It's not an easy job sometimes.
  13. That's what I find too, or it refreshes my memory on some things I might have skipped over or forgotten.
  14. I am just putting this here, I didn't want to talk over in Tims thread in case he doesn't like Robin Hobb. I loved the Farseer Trilogy, and the Tawny Man trilogy - I read them one after the other and felt they would of been just as good as a six book series. I'd say read Tawny Man trilogy next. I also enjoyed her Soldier Son set but not as much as the two trilogies above. I have all her Rain Wild Chronicles but are yet to read them, trying to finish my current fantasy read before I start them. I haven't read her latest book Fool's Assassin either yet, waiting for it to come in paperback.
  15. Happy reading in 2015 Tim!
  16. I hope you feel better soon
  17. I too like the idea of putting a $1 in for every book read. I'm starting to think I need to make a TBR jar now...
  18. I usually read two positive reviews and two least positive reviews after I read a book, I find it helps me when it comes to writing mine.
  19. I love that cover! I also added the book to my wishlist.
  20. I'm also adding the book to my wishlist.
  21. Robin Hobb is one of my favourite fantasy authors, though I imagine I might be in the minority on that one here. Other than Andrea and Laura, I don't think anyone else has enjoyed her books.
  22. No I haven't, where do you recommend I start?
  23. Especially with the cost of books here in Aus, the place was Collins too! I think they overcharge personally, and I find dymocks to be cheaper in most cases. They also have a better variety of books in my opinion. Just sucks we don't have one near me.
  24. I almost picked up this book yesterday. Our local bookstore is moving and they want to get rid of as many books as they can before they move. They have 50% off! I tell you what, it was so hard to just walk out of there and not buy ONE book... We are trying to save for a holiday away, so every penny has to be saved.
  25. With the amount of books we read/own, I would imagine it can happen! I always have to double or triple check the title of a book I am reading before posting sometimes.
