I'm new to these forums but just wanna say I'm obviously happy to be here. I've just finished listening to Brandon Sanderson's new novel called The Allow of Law. It's excellent and certainly another brilliant accomplishment by him and a worthy sequel to the Mistborn series. I've also been dabbling with kindle books on Amazon and read the Song Of The Mermaid by Melissa Davies. It's a very good mystery story set in the present day but the main character has to dig into her families past in order to solve a 200 year old mystery. It's set in Cornwall in England and I found it captured that neck of the woods very well.
I recommend both books but am now wanting to set myself on something new. I'm mainly into fiction/mystery/adventure type novels. My favourite authors the aforementioned Sanderson but I also like the Joseph Delaney books.
Can anyone recommend me a good book along these lines? audio or hard/soft back?
