It's very good so far, I've already bought the 3rd book! Although I can't believe what I've been reading about the enormous demand for it in Japan, madness! I've not read any Murakami before, I've been tempted by Norwegian Wood previously, but always put it back on the shelf. Have you read any of his books before?

Hi all, Newbie here, I'm a Londoner looking for somewhere to chat with fellow bookworms! I work shifts so it can be difficult to find a suitable book group to join so here I am following some Google research! I always have a book in hand, and I will try any sort of genre or style. I love the classics, Thomas Hardy, Charles Dickens, Victor Hugo etc, but I also devour contemporary writers of all sorts. I'm currently reading 1Q84 by Haruki Murakami. This looks like a great forum so I'm very pleased to have found it and look forward to chatting with everyone!
