    Why not try Jules Verne - Journey to the Center of the Earth and The Lost World by Arthur Conan Doyle; not exactly the same story but those two is an adventure pack story that leads to humans’ big discovery. These also talks about the earth status on the past.

    Well instead of reading I’ll repent from my sins and start doing good things. Do something to help other whole heartedly and when the time comes I can say for quite some time my purpose has been served.
