I adore the written word. I would absolutely keel over if I didn't have a book to read.
I have also been lucky enough to be graced with a writing talent.
My other interests include motorbiking, music, (sex Pistols ect), and country walking. The outdoors is a beautiful place :)

  1. I have tried so hard to get into his books, but for some reason I just can't. My sister totally loves him. I honestly don't quite know why I find him so hard to escape into . . . sorry
  2. Yeah, I think you're right. I enjoy reading him greatly, and to be honest, I don't see the relevance in having only half a back story for 8 novels Bah bah
  3. I loved the Stand, (uncut version). I am about to go "under the dome", and I'm excited to hear that its a lot like the "old" King. Thanks for the replies
  4. With the exception of on amazon, I have yet to come across anyone that has anything to say about Stephen King's epic, Under the Dome. I've always been an avid reader of his books, (including going to bed with the light on while reading Salem's Lot Lol . . .well, I was only 15). I'd love to hear some views on the book.
  5. Hi all, I began reading some of Peter James' early books, which were supernatural based. However, after reading the first Roy Grace book, (crime genre), I was, and still am, totally hooked. There have been 8 books now, with Detective Sup' Grace going through emotional torment about the dissappearence of his wife Sandy. We are still no further forward on finding out what has actually happened to her and I wondered if any of you have been reading these books, and what your views, if any, are on the BS. I do enjoy reading these books, and am not complaining. I just wonder if its a bit too drawn out? Sye
  6. I've just been surfing on amazon. I am over the moon. . . A new Terry Pratchett novel, "Snuff", is available for pre order . . .yippeee
