I read reviews before I purchase a book, but when I visit a book store I don't read reviews, I just look for interesting covers or books written by authors I have heard of but never read.

Thank you for your replies. I have replied to a couple of topics now and am really enjoying using the forum! I hope I can keep posting and maybe also (one day) write some book reviews.

Have read some of The Leopard, but stopped after the first part because I didn't know it was part of a series. Will probably read the books in order some time this year. But what I read was very promising!

I know Danish and English pretty well, and also some German and French, but not very much. I sometimes read some Swedish, and I can easily understand the most used words, but speaking it is very difficult for me

Hello everyone. I'm 26 years old and from Denmark. I love all kinds of books, but especially fiction and philosophy. My favorite authors include Paul Auster, J.R.R. Tolkien and Søren Kierkegaard. As I have few friends to discuss books with, I thought I needed a place where I could talk with others about books and reading. I found this forum, and then I decided to join.
