Wasn't there a book written that was a story about what happened were the Nazis to win WWII? I haven't read it, but such a story may be very interesting.

Check out Terry Goodkind's "Sword of Truth" series. It has action, love, wizardry, war, blood...all you could ask for. It is one of the highest grossing and most popular fantasy series in recent history. There are 11 in the series with another to come this fall. Definitely worth checking out. Another thing that is cool is they are available in the US on your E-Reader, which is my preferred method of reading.

Wizard's First Rule. The Sword of Truth series by Terry Goodkind is definitly my favorite series so far. I recommend anyone that enjoys love, fantasy and very detailed and entwining stories check these books out. I am on book 5 right now.

This sounds awesome. I am sad that it isn't available on Kindle, as that is the only way I can comfortably read. Well, maybe it will be eventually.

Right now, I am on the second book of the Terry Goodkind Sword of Truth series. I also started the Icewind Dale trilogy, but haven't read much while engaged with the TG books.

I am Mike from Denver, CO USA. I must say, I love reading. But, most of my life, I have not. The reason is I despise reading from books. The paper cuts my fingers, dries them out. The book makes my hands hurt holding it open. The inserts fall out and one loses their place. The spines crack and pages fall out...the list goes on and on... Last year I was saved. I decided to buy an E-Reader - a Kindle to be more specific. I bought it and got the cover with the light that is part of the cover. It is wonderful. I have been able to enjoy reading again. I am a sci-fi/fantasy freak, so anything that has to do with mystical realms, magic, warriors, demons, that kind of thing; I love it. I am also a fan of History, American Government profiles and basically keeping up to date with current events. I am a libertarian and believe we should be free to live as we please, so long as it does not physically or financially harm others. I believe in the right to defend oneself against harm by any means possible. Right now, I work as a contractor for an Architectural Firm designing custom homes and high-end remodels. It isn't full-time work as I would wish, but in these trying times, I guess we take all we can get. I love dogs, cats, video games...that kind of thing. I enjoy the outdoors, but don't get to go out nearly as much as I would like. Anyhow, it is great to be here, I happened upon this site while searching google for Terry Goodkind book clubs. I look forward to getting to know each of you better as time goes forward.

I am currently about 3/4 through the 2nd book in the series. I would have been through this series before, but...well, long story - I began reading the hardback version back in the late 90s. I only got a few chapters through, and put it down. I hate reading from books, but I love to read stories. Anyhow, last November or something, I picked up a Kindle. Love it! I got The Wizard's First Rule on it, the only one available at the time and read it through. What an awesome Novel. By the time I finished that book, the others weren't yet available on the Kindle. So, I bought the second book in paperback. What a mistake. Same thing...got a bit into it and got annoyed with dealing with the physical book. So, gave it to a friend of mine who was just finishing up the first book. Then was reading some random stuff on my Kindle. After about a month, I guess I got lucky, they released all but 1 of the series on the e-readers. So, I got Stone of Tears and have been reading it. I just love this story, it is so in depth, explained. I love the humor, the adventure, romance and the suspense is to die for. So, if you want to talk TK, just let me know! I will soon be adding an introduction of myself here, but wanted to respond to this first.
