  1. Once Upon a Time in the West directed by Sergio Leone and starring Charles Bronson (actor, not the dangerous criminal) and Henry Fonda. Fantastic film!
  2. Cool to Hate - The Offspring
  3. Christmas - we don't have Thanksgiving. Hugs or kisses?
  4. You're Fairy is Feather Goblinfilter She brings riches and wealth. She lives in high places where the clouds meet the earth. She is only seen on midsummer's eve. She wears pale blue like the sky and has gentle green wings like a butterfly.
  5. Unfortunately, Samantha begins to grow uncomfortable when the relationship talk starts to replace the sexual activity Unfortunately, Samantha had never been told about the long-term effects of straining, or the benefits of pelvic floor exercises
  6. Oh I have already read The Picture of Dorian Gray and it's my favourite book I want to finish the Dark Tower and Lily Bard series' and then I will read the Stieg Larsson books.
  7. I really like the Sookie Stackhouse series but was extremely disappointed in the last book. Nothing really evolved from the previous books and really, it just felt like a book of short stories disguised as a novel. I really hope the next book is an improvement.
  8. Has anybody read her Faythe Sanders/Shifters series? Brilliant set of books, I found them very engaging and the lead characters were all likeable. For those not aware the basic premise is of a young woman who was born into a Pride of Werecats but decided to leave to make her own way in the world but of course... nothing is that simple and she ends up being dragged back into the fold. There are six books in the series: Stray, Rogue, Pride, Prey, Shift and Alpha. If you like people like Kelley Armstrong I think you will enjoy these.
  9. England - born in Chelmsford, Essex and have lived there, then Clacton, Essex - then Chelmsford again - then Oxford, then Clacton again and now Colchester, Essex where I am perfectly happy to stay!
  10. 25 here - will be 26 in August! Scary how time goes so fast.
  11. I started Weight watchers in June and have lost 37 1/2 pounds now - I have dropped 1 and a bit dress sized. It's incredible. I'm not half way there yet but am still going strong

  14. I have read the first four of the series and thoroughly enjoyed them. Am looking forward to reading Haunted, will do that soon I think.
  15. I am (according to my Kindle) 42% of the way through. Callaghan is half way through his story. Ron Howard is making them, there will be three films and a couple of mini-series'. There's only one person perfect for Roland and that's the man he was based on... Clint Eastwood. He's a bit too old now though
  16. I dislike pretty much detest everything related to the Twilight series personally but I can't say I am a huge fan of Anne Rice either. What I find frustrating is that I can recognise that she is a very good writer but I gave up on Interview with the Vampire as found it so frustrating to read. I found it far to over elaborate in places and didn't find any of the characters likeable at all so the chances of me reading any more are slim. I would still rate Anne Rice far above Stephanie Meyer though because, as I said before, she is a good writer it's just not my style.
  17. I am currently reading The Dark Tower V: The Wolves of Calla and so far it is my favourite of the series although I also loved The Drawing of the Three. Am a little bit nervous of it being made into a movie/mini-series combination. It's a huge task to get them anywhere near right.
  18. Hi everyone, My name is Sam and I am from Colchester in Essex. I'm 25 years old. Was looking for a good forum to discuss books with other likeminded people :-) I read pretty much everything apart from chick-lit. Stephen King is overall my favourite writer and my favourite books are The Picture of Dorian Gray, The Great Gatsby, To Kill a Mockingbird and The Lord of the Rings, Am currently reading both Stephen King's The Dark Tower series and Charlaine Harris' Lily Bard Omnibus. Anyway, I look forward to speaking to you all
