I am trying to find a book I read as a child but I cannot remember what it was called or who it was written by and I am hoping someone might help with this information... its a long shot I know...
The story is about a family who own a boat somewhere in the uk... possibly in the east/ fens. They need to move the boat some distance and instead of moving it by road, they decide to take it on unchartered rivers and the story is about the adventure they have along the way. I believe the title is related to a name they were called by a man who couldnt believe they would undertake such a journey.
I think the book is aimed at children/young adults but I'm not sure of that....
Can anyone help with the title/author?
