  1. Since finishing my exams on the 6th of October Inheritance Cycle. - Eragon - Eldest - Brisingr I really enjoyed this series and can't wait for the next installment. Harry Potter an the Deathly Hallows - Had to be read prior to the film. Black magician Trilogy - Trudi Canavan - The Magicians Guild - The Novice Currently finishing off the high lord. Another truely enjoyable fantasy novel. I am beginning to really enjoy this genre Kitch

    Super, Thanks guys recommendations already
  3. I saw harry potter and the deathly hallows yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed second. The nice thing about the films is that they try and stay true to the books... even if there is much they have to omit explicitly from the film.. there is some much included, especially in the scenery, that is there for the reader to recognise but that those how have not read the books would completely miss but be no worse off for it. Finish the book this evening... its intricacy always amazes me Kitch
  4. Hi There, I love to read, given the time, and absence of exam pressure, which being a doctors and trainee anaesthetist is not all that common. However, minimal I always try to read before going to bed, to keep me sane and stop my "to read" pile from hitting the ceiling. One of my main reasons for join this site is to try and broaden my read horizons, my mum and grandmother have always led the way with the books I read, namely crime and thrillers, tess gerritsen, patricia cornwall, ... etc etc I have stumbled across some other gems like harry potter, philip pulmans darkness material, and the inheritance cycle.... leading me to fee fantasy is a genere I'd probably like and no-one in my family reads fantasy so hence no one to guide me. So here I am, and rather than just silently read the reviews, I though I would introduce myself and participate. Kitch
  5. Is anyone else re-reading the deathly hallows prior to its release at the cinema? I have just finished some exams and as a result have read half a dozen books in the last 4 week. Which have included the inheritance cycle which was extremely enjoyable. Anyway, I am re-reading the deathly hallows as I have booked tickets to see the film tomorrow.... its easy to forget just how enjoyable the harry potter books are when u havent read them in a year or so! I have read the harry prooter books many times over and over, what books do you like to read again and again? kitch
