Not sure if this is what you are looking for, but I am currently reading House of Leaves and the main character seems to have a mental disease and from what I have heard about, it is pretty scary/creepy. Good luck with your search

I love these books, they are probably the books that got me into reading. I think they are the first books that I ever liked so much, that I reread them. Can't wait to see the 1st part of the 7th movie. It comes out in less than 2 weeks!!

I have been finding a hard time to read, but when I can find time, I read my current book, House of Leaves. So far I am only around 100 pages in.

Fantasy - Harry Potter at age 7. Stop halfway because I thought it was boring. 5 years later I had finished the whole series lol Sci-Fi - Probably one of the Animorph series, if that even counts (not sure if it's fantasy or not ) Horror: House of Leaves, now. I haven't read too many so this is the first one I can remember, and I am no even sure if it counts as horror, but I've heard its scary.

Hello everyone, I am new here and thought I would say hi. I was reading through a few of the other intro topics and noticed that mine is a little short so I apologize for that Anyways, a little about me: I am 14 years old, in 9th grade, and I like fiction books, I know its pretty uncommon to have that combination nowadays My favorite genre is horror fiction and dark fantasy. My favorite book(s) would have to be the Darkside Series by Tom Becker and I am currently reading House of Leaves which is kind of giving my trouble due to it's very elaborate writing pattern and for the fact that I am 14 with the brain of a 14 year old. Anyways, I hope to see you all around the forum
