No it's just growing towards my cheek so I'm constantly biting it. Now I have an ulcer there too. Eating used to be much less painful!

  2. Hogwarts would be amazing! Hogsmeade and diagon alley have always been so interesting to me. I would love to be able to try all the potions and fly a broomstick. Also I'm very lazy so being able to produce things from thin air would be perfect!
  3. That's good as I also enjoy reading manga! this forum will be very useful, especially when waiting to hear if a new volume for a particular series is available-lots of eyes and ears!
  4. Welcome to the forum! We will have to swap ideas as I'm a fan of fantasy too.
  5. Sorry for the late reply, have been at work all day. I used to stick to mainly fantasy novels but I now also enjoy historical fiction and true stories, particularly Italian based at the moment. I also like the da Vinci code style of murder mystery/ancient riddle plots. Anything with a bit of romance in is good too. What about you?

  8. Hello, I'm new to the forum, and actually this is the first forum I have joined! So please bare with me! I am twenty one years old and live in Norfolk. My husband only really reads manga/graphic novels so he doesn't really understand when I start raving on about getting absorbed in a book. It will be good to chat to like minded individuals and get some good ideas for new books!
  9. I think there is definitely something special about buying a brand new book, its kind of like a new friend to keep you entertained for a while. I like the way each one has its own new book smell... I have borrowed a few books from my dad, which he bought from boot sales and charity shops and was at first sceptical when I looked at the tatty covers but it didn't take long for me to love them too. Also I don't know what I would have done without the school library, there were not many books I hadn't read!
  10. I'm new to the book club forum but I am looking forward to chatting about books and getting some fresh reading material!

  11. I have recently finished reading Mistress of Rome by Kate Quinn and the Botticelli Secret by Marina Fiorato and would love to read something similar to either of those if anyone has any suggestions...
