Let The Right One In - 8/10
A really moving film that touches on some powerful issues surrounding bullying. It mixes genre cleverly and is far more than your average vampire/horror film. The acting is superb, my only criticism is that it is not as graphic as the book or detailed. This is the thing I always dislike about book adaption films.

Yeah I love Caroline to. She is so hot, even sexier as a vampire.Oh! I love this show!! And it just gets better and better, if that's possible..
Caroline is quickly becoming my favourite, and Katherines evilness is perfect. Can't wait for thursdays episode!
I can't beleive she bit her boyfriend.
. Katherine plays a good part as well!

It will be Waterloo Road for me tonight followed by the last hour of Midsomer Murders.

Bride Of Frankenstein 10/10
Again, absolutely brilliant. I am really loving horror season on BBC Four at the moment. It is a reall sad film. You feel really sorry for the monster in it who everyone is terrified of just because he looks different. When in reality he is this really sweet creature that a blind man takes a real liking to. There are some very strong, sad messages about society as a whole in this film. Complete genius.

My weekly fix of The Vampire Diaries of course!!!

I love Vampire Diaries. I like its gruesome nature but also the fit girls on display. Nina Dobrev is seriously hot stuff.

Brides Of Dracula 10/10
I love old, original films. This is top class, generically conventional horror. It is really gruesome as well. I hate the bit when the young girl is in the mirror and then she sees the male vampire. Hilarious, epic and gruesome!!!

Jeff Stelling has a great football book out at the moment that I have just purchased. I would advise Jellyman's Thrown A Wobbly to anyone interested in him as a person, football or watching Sky Sports News. It is lighthearted, genius entertainment.
May I ask whether anyone has read it?
-
Is there a book?
If it is any better than the film it will be worth a read. Slumdog and Danny Boyle. One word. Genuis!

I love football. I get all the Man United Season Annuals every season. They're great. My brother gets the Arsenal ones, yuck. David Beckham autobiographies are also very good. I find him to be one of the more interesting footballers around. Match magazine is wortha read as well imo.
-
If I had to read them it would be Match which is a football magazine and then anything that is educational, sometimes I read my mum's vegetarian society magazine out of interest!
-
I don't read many magazines, the few I have were to me very trashy and ill informed. I would much rather read a nice book that gives you a warm feeling and a lot more pleasure!

Sorry Chrissy. I will take note!

Why has the trailer been removed? Why don't you allow graphics in sigs? Why is a video not appropriate?Just in case anyone is confused, the trailer has been removed. Considering we don't allow graphics in sigs, I hardly think a video is appropriate!
-
Yep let's do that. Good trailer!
-
First person. No doubt.
-
I was but so were you. What's your point?I thought you were saying something about kindles earlier?
-
What?Didn't see you there! Lol Might get a kindle for Xmas. They're the future! Lol

Did you take note of my post?

Cheers Remy Porter, you have been of great help to me. I will have a look at them!

No e - books are not my cup of tea at all. I can't read things electronically or over the internet on a computer screen. You just don't get the same pleasure as reading a proper paperback or hardback book. I also don't read many horror books anyway!Do you like to buy horror novels as kindles? Mine seems to do far better in that format. Upto 788 overall in paid kindles today, (9th in horror).
-
Not many but I can only go on what I've read. I don't know how it was a sarcy comment either. What ohers are on your mind then? It's much more than a zombie book is it? Well plenty of zombie novels I know are also happy to dead with other subtexts. I know mine had plenty ...read any zombie novels just out of interest?
-
Handling The Undead obviously. Shaun Of The Dead and Dawn Of The Dead are good zombie film!
-
I'm not into sci - fi. Too mainstream for me and it doesn't meet my tastes. I think they're incredibly overrated!
The Last Film You Saw

I watched that last night on BBC Four. They have a great horror season going on at the moment. It is an excellent film, really gruesome and so true to life. I wouldn't say it has as many laughs in it though as Shaun Of The Dead although the zombies are more realistic.
Someone mentioned about Jonny English. I saw that too, Rowan Atkinson really doesn't convince me as him, he's too stupid and I always think of Mr Bean. Nah it didn't do it for me personally.
