SandMan

I know that "graphic novels" are technically glorified comic books, but do any of you have a particular favourite (if you're like me and slumming the depths of what in a very broad sense can be considered literature)? I have a penchant for the Hellblazer and Sand Man series (because I wuv Neil Gaiman ).

Constantine - I actually really enjoyed it, though it wasn't entirely faithful to the HellBlazer series. Looking forward to the next one!

Well, I chose my username in honour of the protagonist of my favourite graphic novel series (alright, comic book) - the Sand Man, by Neil Gaiman. Thumping good read, although at a tenner a go, its a costly addiction.

Greetings, I'm SandMan and (unsurprisingly) I love to read. I'll pretty much read anything that I can get my hands on - I've just finished reading Dracula, I'm a fan of Chekhov, Orwell, Lovecraft, and Neil Gaiman (hence my handle) to list a few, but my all time favourite author is Haruki Murakami (I own practically all of his works that have been translated into english). Aside from books, I love independent films, tea and tobacco. In fact, I'm just going to make a fresh pot and enjoy a roll up before making a start on Crime and Punishment. Nice to meet you, to meet you nice.

Just this moment finished reading it, very rewarding. I'm not that interested in vampires, but it certainly delivered!
