  1. Love Baldacci and Coben.Not read Child yet. Just finished Coben's 'Play Dead' and really enjoyed it.And considering it was the first novel he wrote it is a pretty good effort.

  5. Usually give up more on non-fiction books than fiction.Especially when you get bogged down with too much data/technical info/waffling. Fiction i probably finish 99% of books i start.

  7. Finished the last 100 or so pages of Andy McDermotts:The Cult Of Osiris. Read 60 pages of Doug Beatties:Task Force Helmand.
  8. I have read all David's books and this was the first one i read.Think he is a good author. 'First Family' is well worth a read if you are willing to give him another chance.

  10. 'Zen and the art of motorcycle maintenance'. Quality book title if ever i have heard one.

My TBR pile is usually quite reasonable if i just stick to the latest paperbacks from Tesco/Sainsburys,which i try to do.Currently stands at about 14 books.It's when i go to shops like Waterstones that i can easily come out with 8 or 10 books.I limit these visits to every couple of months now.

  14. I don't have a gap as such between books.I have a TBR pile that i tend to stick to oldest first.New purchases go to the bottom of the pile.I am pretty good at sticking to it.
  15. I don't actually keep books that i have read.They all go to the charity shop. Not one for re-reading,i like new books.
  16. Usually read about 150 pages a day due to working 2.00pm to 10.30pm.Nothing else better to do in the morning.Usually average about 2 books a week.
  17. Stephen King,Dean Koontz and James Patterson have all deteriated in recent years.But i am still compelled to read them in the hope they can regain previous form.
  18. Read 112 pages of 'The Forbidden Temple' by Patrick Woodhead. Not bad actually.Set in Tibet and involving a couple of mountain climbers who are looking for a mysterious temple.
