loooll ! I'm sorry ^^ I know many people loved it but honestly I found it really boring !

It was the one with Ralph Fiennes and Juliette Binoche ! In fact I wanted to read it but as my friend lent me her DVD, I couldn't resist ^^ And I started to fall asleep because the story wasn't lively, I was really disappointed because I had heard many good things about it. Maybe I should have read the book before watching the film ^^

I'll let you know as soon as I read it Actually Nienna I watched Wuthering Heights and it was sooooo boring. Maybe the book is better I don't know but it wasn't my cup of tea at all.

Finally I decided to read Vanity Fair But many of your propositions are very interesting so I'll read them too for my own pleasure ^^ New books on my list !! Thank you very much for all your propositions I guess maybe we could go on with the lists of your favourite Victorian literature I discover many new authors thanks to you ^^

Hey everyone ! I just wanted to share that book with you as I've seen there was nothing about it. I must say "Oscar and the Lady in Pink" is very very famous here in Belgium and also in France. It's a book you can easily read to your children but that you can appreciate too because you realize many things while reading it. You'll discover that this little Oscar is so strong and he'll give you real lessons about life. Everyone I know really adored the book and the message it brought them. The letters Oscar writes are sometimes funny, sometimes sensitive, sometimes we can really feel his illness through the letters and sometimes he seems to be like all the other children. Honestly you may only love that book It was so succesful that they also made a film.(I'm sorry I didn't find the trailer in English) : And there've been a play too which they performed even in Russia, Italy, etc. so maybe you've heard a bit about it.

I read "A walk to remember" : It was a splendid story and I definitely fell in love with Landon Carter The film is a very good one too though it's rather different from the book ^^ I also read " Message in a bottle" which was a bit sad I think but it was a great book too. The film on the other side was very boring I think and was far from being as stunning as the book. Then I read "Nights in Rodanthe" which was splendid too but I don't know why I forgot a little about that one. But well I remember that I felt a real pleasure reading it ^^ I also watched "Dear John" (the end wasn't the one I expected. Nevertheless it was a good one)... but I refuse to watch "The Last Song" because I hate Miley Cyrus so I'll content myself with the book

It seems so sad !! A mother telling goodbye to her daughters through letters ? But well, all of you seem to like the book so I guess I could add it in my list of books to read ^^

I read many different books, but there's only ONE I started to read and then stopped because it was SOOOOO incredibly boring !!! It was "Atonement' by Ian McEwan !! I really forced myself to read as much as I can...I read 127 and then I gave up ! Then I watched the film... which was really wonderful For the first time I prefered the film rather than the book ! Another author I refuse to read is Marc Levy. I tried to read it one of his books once but then I found it was really as dull as ditchwater !

I hope so ^^ In fact I saw the film of "The Golden Compass" before I knew it came from a book ! ^^ I really adored it but as often books are better than films, I'm really impatient to discover the trilogy I'm relieved you found the books wonderful as I've never heard any critics about it till now

I guess the very first one was Harry Potter. I didn't read so much at the time but then JK Rowling gave me the taste of books Then I also read Dracula which I found breathtaking <3 The next one I'd like to read is "The Golden Compass" by Philip Pullman ^^

So many persons talked to me about that book that I finally decided to put it in my list of books I have to read Thank you for your advice I don't have the words to describe "Memoirs of a geisha", it's an amazing book and I read it rather quickly though it's a more than 600 pages book ^^ I mean the story, the way it is written, the characters,... just a wonderful book you should read Once again thanks everyone for your cordial welcome
