The only other tip I can think of is to try reading a coffee table book that you can just flick through and read whatever takes your fancy or a book of short stories, the kind you can finish in a couple of hours so you're not tied up in a full length novel.

I finished Everything's Eventual which was good obviously I liked some stories more than others but good over all. I I finished 1227 QI facts as I got it for 20p from amazon and enjoyed that. I have also finished The Hundred Year Old Man Who Climbed Out of a Window and Disappeared which I thought was really good. Although I preferred the historical bits. Not sure what to start next as I keep buying the 20p bargain ebooks from amazon

I really liked this one and have got the next instalment on my wish list and I'm hoping to have enough money for it soon.

I really enjoyed this one and some of the info in it actually stayed in my head. I find it difficult to read regular history books but not this one!

The Past When did you start to love reading? Ever since I can remember. What books did you love as a child? I loved Enid Blytons Magic Faraway Tree and the Famous Five ]Childhood memories of reading (if you have them)? I think the first clear memory is when my sister was reading me a Goliwog story and my mom told her off for saying that they had gone to the shop for cigarettes except it was true.
