That's a really good haul Poppy! When I have a new book in a series to get, I often sent OH to get it for me otherwise I will spend ages in the shop and end up spending too much!

I was naughty last night and had fried chicken wings, garlic mushrooms, fries and beans. Means that the mince has to be used today so either chilli or home-made burgers.

I have convinced OH to take me to Ikea so I can buy a new book case. He whinged "can't you get it from Argos?" but I was firm and told him no, I need a black one to match the two other bookcases I have. It's not too badly priced

I just ate some fresh pineapple and it's made my tongue feel funny.

I think you might be on to something Corina. I'm always having crazy dreams that I can remember years afterwards. My sister (who reads nearly as much as I do) also has very crazy vivid dreams.

I have read a few more chapters of Catch 22, I'm still really enjoying it. I forgot to mention I went second hand shop shopping at the weekend and bought: On Beauty - Zadie Smith The God of Small Things - Arundhati Roy The Behaviour of Moths - Poppy Adams Water for Elephants - Sara Gruen Labyrinth - Kate Mosse The Savage Garden - Mark Mills I have got to stop buying books. I seriously cannot read fast enough!!!

@ Steeeeve - They've only sent my stuff via the new delivery service if they post the order on a weekend. So I've started doing my ordering on a Monday and I get my books through Royal Mail.

I thought what I was having for dinner would be nice but now I've seen this and anything I have the ability to cook pales into insignificance!

Half way through Catch 22. It's really good and I'm glad I'm able to read it quickly because otherwise I think I would forget who half the characters are and have to keep flicking back.

I would try most things out. I don't mind if the animal is cute either. I would eat Bambi. I would also try Rose Veal although I bet it's expensive.
