Thanks, I'm starting my challenge thread! I didn't know how this section worked, but now I know that I can start a thread here. My problem was that I've read a lot of books, but all from France or England! Too bad that I have not a single book from Africa! Maybe I have read some, but I don't remember. Anyway, it's time to do it now!

Recently I thought that I had found a fantasy book, but actually it was Sci Fi, I failed. Thanks CornflowerBlue, I'll note it too (I have never seen the movie, but I'll read the book before!).

Really? xD I can't stand what my country tries to send to Eurovision nowadays, but I love the Fatals Picards, it was the only band that I liked (in 2008). I'm in love with Alexander Rybak, I wish I was Norwegian.

My next book will be The Shining, and there are two other novels in the same (huuuuge) book. I'll tell you the names so I'll know if it's worth reading them too!

I now an author who has won a price in France, I can't know why. His name is Weyergans and his book is about "I don't want to write, but I'm paid so I write lines about cinema, but the story is that I'm going to my mother's because she's old". And he writes it that way. Okay.

I refuse to read Marc Levy and Guillaume Musso (French authors), even though everyone tells me things like "he's my favourite author, I love his books" etc. They write easy stories, in my opinion, and because I know that with my tender heart I will unfortunately like it, I refuse to try. Soap romance isn't what I call quality, but I know that there are good romance books. Still, Musso and Levy don't go in that quality category, in my opinion. That was a bit harsh, sorry if someone loves them.

Nearly finished Shim Chong, Sold Girl by Hwang Sok-Yong, and it's the most interesting book I've read about Asia in my whole life. It's not funny, but I've learned a lot of things about Asia at the end of the XIXth century. After, I'll start The Shining by Stephen King if my library is open, or Alone by Lisa Gardner if I finish the book too quickly.

First time I had 13% because I misunderstood the rules of the game. I did 75% the second time, but it will be 100% after!

I finished Angel Time by Anne Rice and started... I think the translated title would be: Shim Chong, sold girl by Hwang Sok-Yong.

Nearly halfway of Angel Time by Anne Rice, hopefully it's not like "oh my god there are angels everywhere and they're so handsome" and "I'm gonna save your life with all my heart and soul because you're the one for me", it's more a story about the personnality of the main character, and although it's slow to start, I have got into the story now!

I finished 1408 then saw the movie, and yes it can change if you're a morbid or an optimistic reader. Something tells me that it's not what you meant, sorry if I didn't understand your sentence. This is the first time that I read "how a story changes between drafts" so I must me wrong!

Same thing for me, but it's less horrible because when I stop reading I write music, or my own novel, or do my homework, so I have always good reasons. And my TBR pile isn't too high, because I tidy my TBR books randomly in my bookshelf, so I don't have to see them all waiting for me. But I know they're here...

Make a diet like you had cholesterol, you start eating variously and it's always good. xD I have cholesterol so I don't do it for pleasure, and moreover I've lost a lot of kilos that I didn't have to lose! To explain my problem: I have cholesterol from my family, it's hereditary, BUT I am too weak and thin, and I have to get weight. Try to get weight without greasy food! I spend my life on the edge, but at least my cholesterol isn't as high as before.
