I'm 22 years old and from one of the most Eastern parts of the USA (the lovely first state, Delaware). I'm a fan of many different types of books, although I do tend to lean more toward Vampiric things and have since I discovered Anne Rice's 'Pandora' when I was 11. I enjoyed the Twilight series, and love Charlaine Harris' Sookie series - I can't wait for May. I've been looking for a book forum for quite some time and this one just popped out at me!

I was born in Detroit, MI - grew up in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania then moved back to Michigan for a few years. Now living in Delaware about 30 minutes from Philadelphia. My parents are from Dresden, Germany and moved here just before I was born. I kind of wish they hadn't, but the grass is always greener I suppose, eh?

Although it really wasn't horrific, I found The Bell Jar by Sylvia Plath to be extremely disturbing. I started and finished the book in one day, and found myself justifying her insanity and wanting to fight for her. It's fairly depressing, and semi auto-biographical. The true story behind Sylvia Plath is a deep and dark one. It was the first time I had fallen into a book and felt as though I was experiencing all of the events as if I were her.
