A few years ago, a friend of mine urged me to read the novel The Secret History by Donna Tartt. I was compelled by this book and the dept of its characters, but since then I have not found another novel that could live up to this personal reading experience. Even if you have not read this book, you might help me if you know anything that portrays complex (and maybe very negative) emotions between several close characters. Have you ever read anything that might fit this description?
