I tend to agree that SK has lost his way.I tend to prefer James Herbert although his writing has slowed down terribly and i wasnt that impressed with his last book .Maybe its just me but the horror genre seems to be in desperate need of a new author unless i have missed someone that anyone can recommend Peter

Welcome to the site Northern Nutter ,I like you stumbled across the site only the other day and its brilliant, although if you are not careful it could seriously cut into your reading time lol .Also from here i was directed to shelfari which is another fantastic addition for the avid book reader Welcome once again Peter

I am a total gadget boy and in terms of pure gadgetry then these readers really intrigue me.The thing that i see as their downfall currently is that not all books are available yet, you cant get bargains like you do in the supermarket or in the bookstore, they all seem to be the one price and thats it even though there is no real cost to the publisher once it has been made but ofcourse the real benefit is that there has to be a significant benefit to the planet as there is not loads of paper needed for every book Peter

  11. I must admit to starting to catalogue all the books i have read.I use a mac and i use a brilliant programme called delicious library to track all my books and it will be nice when i have added sufficient books to make it look packed lol Peter

Ok i just joined today and this site fascinates me.I tend to have serious sessions with books and then i hit a bad one and can stop reading for maybe months at a time so i am kind of hoping that this forum and site will keep my enthusiasm going.. So my question is as above what is the average number of books people read every week/month/year .You choose which one you want to answer Looking forward to your responses peter
