  1. Ive desperately tried to read these books mainly because of all the hype but gave up after just a few chapters........................mainly because I thought the storyline poor in my eyes and its generally not the sort of book I would usually read. Having said that my 20 year old daughter who rarely picks up a book read all 3 in the space of 3 weeks so I guess it appeals to that sort of audience I dont know.

  2. OMG its taken me ages to get back on here without having to make a new account as the madwoman couldnt remember her sign in name let alone her password!

Well to all them that remember me HELLO and to all the newbies since I was last here NICE TO MEET YOU!!!

  3. and gonna make more of an effort to remember to sign in!!

Change of hours and change of job means I'm all over place (just for a change) most of time so don't always spend copious hours online like I use to!

Ive invested in a KIndle purely for the fact that my arthritic hands can no longer cope with holding a proper book anymore........means I'm reading more than ever though which is great eh?

Hope those of you that remember me are well............................will make an effort to sign in more!!

  4. I read the first book but the second was boring ....seemed like the author was droning on and on ....

and I am tired of twilight , I read all 4 books and seen the first 2 movies but I am done with twilight , burned out ...on it ....

    I'm all v.a ( vampire academy )

    and POTTER!

Have a look at the Darren Shan books they are vampirey too!!

  5. I much prefer reading a book to the films especially Harry Potter for example but that might just be me................I've read Twilight and recently read New Moon and although I've seen Twilight I've no interest in the other as the film (I have debates with my daughter about this lol)!

I read P.S. I love you and loved it...bought the film in Asda for about £5 watched half and hour then switched it off.

Think it depends on how good the film is, how much it sticks to the book and the individual.

  6. Ooooh Kara gets right on my bits (sowwy) she is too up herself

  7. I'll probably be new since your absence so I'll just say Hi, welcome back and I hope you are healing well. 2 Months off for a shoulder injury must be quite serious. What happened if you don't mind me asking? Wishing you well. :friends0:

    Hello!

I don't mind you asking...I'm suffering with Rotator Shoulder Cuff Syndrome its to do with the tendons and tissues around the shoulder.....very similar to frozen shoulder just it takes longer to heal and I've had to have surgery as an outpatient. I'm back there for x rays later so hopefully I will be refered back to my doctor for care (fingers crossed)!

    Nice to meet you!!

  8. Having been off sick with my shoulder for 2 months now and another 6 weeks to look forward to (oh joyyy lol) I've been doing a lot of reading literally a book a week would you believe.

What better place to share than here, I know I havent been on for ages but I really hadnt been reading that much but I guess the one good thing to come out of being home is that I've my reading head back on!!

Hope you are all ok and of course that you remember me....
