I think the new Star Trek films are both great films. Was never really a Star Trek fan but the new films have really dragged me in. The last film I watched the extended edition of An Unexpected Journey, not sure the extra 13 or so minutes was really worth the extra money. Currently on a re watch of The Dark Night Rises.

One of my New Years resolution is to read more. I love reading but never actually seem to fully commit myself to it, I am sticking to it this year as I spend far to much time on the computer / phone / lpad and can spend hours wasting time on the internet and not doing anything useful. I treated myself to a Kindle Paperwhite with gift cards I received for Christmas , although I do still believe books are better (at the moment). I'm currently watching Batman Begins (I got the Dark Knight Trilogy on Blu-ray for Christmas )

I still haven't got around to watching Monsters University, I really enjoyed Monsters Inc as well. Is it a good sequel? The last film I watched was Angels and Demons and the last film I watched at the cinema was The Hobbit.

Sorry to revive an old thread. Has anyone been watching series four? I'm not to sure on it just yet especially now they've got rid of Mitchell and George. However I do like Cutler one of the new vampires in the series. He reminds me a lot of Lupin from Harry Potter, does anyone else agree?

What are the Robin Hobb Liveship Traders books like? I have them but have never read them.

So I've had my Vox for almost three weeks now, at first I was fairly pleased with it and was OK too read off. However the touch screen was fairly unresponsive and froze a couple of times. The battery life was on average 2-4 hours, about two weeks in it froze and I reset only to find out all of books had been deleted so had to upload them all again :s. Also it is not ideal to read in only one hand and 90% of the time required both hands. I took the vox back to the shop today and swapped it for a Kobo Touch, which is a lot lighter and easier to hold, hope this one turns out better than the vox, will keep you all posted.

Finished I am Number Four a few days ago. Was pretty good and an easy read. I am now on The Power of Six.

I know with Netflix it is just £5.99 a month and that is it, no extra costs after x amount of months and I can only assume that LoveFilm is the same. We can't get Hulu in the UK yet though

I've got Netflix, admittedly the movies aren't that great. I only really signed up because of the amount of TV series that they have available.

I draw, here's one I have just finished, it took me about 3 hours: Nope, only joking. I used to do quite a lot of drawing when I was in Secondary school but stopped for some reason and I used to do quite a lot of animation during college. There's some very good pieces of work in here though, very impressive!
