  1. I've heard bad things about Pig Island too so I've never bought it. I did like Birdman and The Treatment by her though. The Treatment was quite uncomfortable to read in some places. I gave up on Tokyo, but I might try and read it again.

  5. I've read Intensity by Koontz which I enjoyed. I also watched the film based on the book which is a French film called Haute Tension!

  9. Frotiers was good, but disturbing lol. I was going to get Irreversible until I heard about the 15 minute scene I'm guessing you had to fast forward! Inside is good so give that a go

  11. Yes, that part of Saw was bad, Book Fiend:lol: I really like Saw although it took me three years to face watching it. Now I really like them. I'm not too bad with horror films now. I do have to get my boyfriend to come with me to the toilet afterwards though as I get too scared
  12. The Exorcist scared my Dad, but not me *proud* Mr Barlow from Salems Lot scared me!
  13. I watched Blair Witch because mymate kept going on about the ending being very disturbing. I thought it was **** Vacancy is about the snuff movie in the hotel, isn't it? That wasn't too bad, but the guy with the mask on freaked me out

  17. Yes, your name kind of gave it away I've never read a book of his yet I have seen the films:blush:. I do have a friend who is a big fan so I really should give him a go. I think I will start with Duma Key and see where I go from there:mrgreen: I've not read all of this thread, but I know that SK wrote a book in a series. There are a few of them and I can't remember for the life of me what they are called!

  24. Hi Frankie:mrgreen: Yes, The Coffin Dancer is brilliant! I'd love it to be made into a film. My bf really likes The Blue Nowhere too so I need to read that soon too as he's always raving about it. So glad he reads now as I don't feel so bad having my nose stuck in a book all the time
  25. I have never read a Stephen King book I have two of his books upstairs. IT and one about a guy who ties his wife up in a sex game. Is that Geralds Game?
