Haha, that is what I usually do! Shocking, I never actually left my essays to the last minute, there was just so much to do
Funny you should mention that, I got my boyfriend a Terry Pratchett book and he loves it! How he keeps raving about it, I want to steal it from him once hes finished

My dad loves books by Robert Jordan, David Eddings and David Gemmell.
Just got back from Uni now and have everything handed in so I am a very happy bee
Haha, I managed to start and finish an essay yesterday so maybe you can be a tiiiiiny bit lazy

I love the Noughts and Crosses series, can still read my favourite Enid Blyton books too
I love Dan Brown books (a dangerous thing to admit), Jeffery Deavers crime books, LOTR and The Hobbit, Stardust, The Reader, some Cathy Kelly chick lit. I want to read some of my dads fantasy books, and on my TBR pile I have Battle Royale, King books, Austen books and Ann Rice books
as you can tell, love variety, haha!
I am so uber stressed today with essays! I'm sure what I've written so far isn't right and I want to read Harry to take my mind of things

Unfortunatly a lot of the people I know claim reading is stupid. I hate that, just because at school you was seen as a square if you read books. Haha, I was never ashamed. I took OotP to school when it first came out and sat reading between lessons. The only person who bothered me was my English teacher who couldn't believe I was still reading it and threatening to tell me who died
Its the main reason I came on here to be honest. My parents and brother read, but my mum only reads chic lit and dad and brother only read fantasy, so theres not a lot of variety there and I like reading all sorts! My boyfriend likes a lot of the stuff I read but his WoW needs come first...typical.

I know exactly what you mean! One of my friends at Uni is in love with the Twilight film...well shes actually in love with any adaptation. The problem is that she never gets round to reading the book as she "doesn't have time". All my assignments are in for Friday, and I have one more to write up but I've still found the time to re-read the Potter books pretty damn fast. She saw my Twilight wallpaper on my lappy and went "OMG Twilight! I love it! The vampires are so hot!" and I spent the next 10mins explaining everything that happens in the other books as she can't be bothered to read it to find out herself.

The good thing about HP was Rickman as Snape
To be honest, even while reading the books I could never imagine Rosalie as beautiful because a) it seemed way over the top and not that believable, and b) because she was a total cow and her whole obsession in the 4th book made me hate her even more. Ha, for saying how much I love it I am so critical

For me I found them to be like the Potter movies, very disappointing. It dragged on far too long but you didn't really get to see the relationship develop like in the book. I actually had butterflies in my stomach when reading the meadow scene for the first time =D The 4th book I didn't mind so much, but it was such a let down after all the hype of being a vampy and all the "fighting" talk ='(
