  1. While re-reading them I have realised how annoying he was in previous books, there was just something annoying about him and I was agreeing with everything Snape said. Can't believe he could get worse until re-reading OotP! Harry ---->
  2. Please tell me I wasn't the only nut shouting at the TV, warning her not to tell, like she can hear me
  3. I am finally reading Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix and now I remember why I hate Harry so much. Harry and his stupid on going man period throughout the whole book
  4. Haha, that is what I usually do! Shocking, I never actually left my essays to the last minute, there was just so much to do :P

Funny you should mention that, I got my boyfriend a Terry Pratchett book and he loves it! How he keeps raving about it, I want to steal it from him once hes finished :D

  5. Don't worry, I love a bit of chic-lit, real romantic at heart :D

  6. My dad loves books by Robert Jordan, David Eddings and David Gemmell.

Just got back from Uni now and have everything handed in so I am a very happy bee :D

Haha, I managed to start and finish an essay yesterday so maybe you can be a tiiiiiny bit lazy :P

  7. I have every single one, couldn't miss out on their latest one even though it is just Dark Passion Play live. Got to see them twice last year as well
  8. I love the Noughts and Crosses series, can still read my favourite Enid Blyton books too :D I love Dan Brown books (a dangerous thing to admit), Jeffery Deavers crime books, LOTR and The Hobbit, Stardust, The Reader, some Cathy Kelly chick lit. I want to read some of my dads fantasy books, and on my TBR pile I have Battle Royale, King books, Austen books and Ann Rice books :D as you can tell, love variety, haha!

I am so uber stressed today with essays! I'm sure what I've written so far isn't right and I want to read Harry to take my mind of things :(

  9. Unfortunatly a lot of the people I know claim reading is stupid. I hate that, just because at school you was seen as a square if you read books. Haha, I was never ashamed. I took OotP to school when it first came out and sat reading between lessons. The only person who bothered me was my English teacher who couldn't believe I was still reading it and threatening to tell me who died :P Its the main reason I came on here to be honest. My parents and brother read, but my mum only reads chic lit and dad and brother only read fantasy, so theres not a lot of variety there and I like reading all sorts! My boyfriend likes a lot of the stuff I read but his WoW needs come first...typical.

  10. Welcome to the forum As you can tell by my name, we like the same type of music
  11. I know exactly what you mean! One of my friends at Uni is in love with the Twilight film...well shes actually in love with any adaptation. The problem is that she never gets round to reading the book as she "doesn't have time". All my assignments are in for Friday, and I have one more to write up but I've still found the time to re-read the Potter books pretty damn fast. She saw my Twilight wallpaper on my lappy and went "OMG Twilight! I love it! The vampires are so hot!" and I spent the next 10mins explaining everything that happens in the other books as she can't be bothered to read it to find out herself.

  12. The good thing about HP was Rickman as Snape :)

To be honest, even while reading the books I could never imagine Rosalie as beautiful because a) it seemed way over the top and not that believable, and b) because she was a total cow and her whole obsession in the 4th book made me hate her even more. Ha, for saying how much I love it I am so critical

  13. I remember studying the whole of The World's Wife during year 12 (my first year of A-Levels). I was dreading it as I was never keen on poetry, but I loved it! She is so funny and I loved my teacher explaining all the poems such as the background mythology - yes, Duffy is the reason I love mythology now Actually I think throughout the whole of the two years I prefered the poetry work to the plays and novels. Duffy, Blake and the World War 1 literature really opened my eyes to how amazing poetry is
  14. For me I found them to be like the Potter movies, very disappointing. It dragged on far too long but you didn't really get to see the relationship develop like in the book. I actually had butterflies in my stomach when reading the meadow scene for the first time =D The 4th book I didn't mind so much, but it was such a let down after all the hype of being a vampy and all the "fighting" talk ='(

  15. Heeeeey, noticed you posting in Twilight and Harry Potter a lot =D

  16. Reading all of these positive views on the book really makes me want to read it
  17. Hey Dan, just got back from shopping =D Got my bfs present for our 4yr anniversary, a Terry Pratchett book hes been going on about. You think he will like? =D

  18. I found I was getting back into my reading so I decided to search for a book club forum on google I kept visiting this and some others for a few months and decided as this was the most active that I would join here
  19. I think you can tell I really don't like Bella
  20. I'd be there every day over pains in my heart
  21. Can you imagine him being your doctor? He would be convinced you are having a fit or something when hearing your heart beat
  22. *Attempts NOT to drool over Carlisle*
  23. Haha, I get the wise one then
  24. Do I dare come back in here again? Oh and guys, leave one for me please Edward, Jasper and Jacob, yuuuuum or just greedy
  25. At the moment I am annoyed because a girl from Uni keeps phoning me, and I bet it is because she needs help with the assignments (I haven't dared answer yet). Normally I would help, but in this case the girl is somone I really don't like (and I know she doesn't like me either and her and her mates bullied me!) so really why should I help? In case you was wondering, we worked on a group project and had to fill out a learning contract with contact details so I had no choice but to give my number, but the project is over so she really shouldn't have it stored still.
