I love Irvine Welsh. I have read Filth, Porno, Ecstacy, Marabou Stork Nightmares, Trainspotting and Acid House and I really enjoyed them all. He has a unique style which is not for the faint hearted.

I have read Wicked and loved it. I have Confessions of an Ugly Sister, but struggled a bit during the first few chapters so gave up. It is still on my bedside cabinet so I will give it another go at some point.

I'm intrigued....but can't watch as I am at work Roll on 5pm!

Thanks for the words of encouragement, I can use the confidence boost at the moment. In addition to swimming, I am going to try Zumba with some mates next week. I really don't enjoy the gym (I love swimming), so I am hoping that this is a good alternative.

I am rewatching season 1 of Charmed at the mo.

I'm thinking that everyone dies and Jack is left as protector of the island. It will be the quickest way to wrap things up as we don't have long left!

I read this last year as I thought that it was a book that I should have read. I am pleased that I have read it, but probably wouldn't bother to read it again.....it will be interesting to know your thoughts!

I have tried getting in to Basketball, but I don't like it that much. I think that this is mainly because I don't understand it.... Most of my basketball knowledge comes from watching One Tree Hill

I thought that this episode was okay. We didn't really find out much, but the audience should be used to that by now Poor MiB! All he wanted to do was leave. I'm not sure about the mother. Why did she have to kill the biological mother? Was she expecting her to arrive? I don't think that she did have smokey abilities although this would explain how she managed to kill everyone. She said to Jacob at the end that he was the same as her now and Jacob wasn't smokey....Plus, the smoke monster can't be killed easily and the mother died without much trouble. Why was she there in the first place? So many questions! I haven't liked this season very much at all. I am kind of looking forward to the end of it!

I don't like Amy Pond at all. I don't think that she has a good rapport with the Doctor and I don't really care what happens to her. I also don't like the fact that Rory is now tagging along. I liked the storyline, but thought that they took the easy way out at the end.

I'm getting wonderful visuals of your cat attacking the giant ball About gym contracts - have you got a local leisure centre near to you? I have a membership at our local one and you aren't tied in to a contract, it is just on a monthly basis. Plus, it isn't as expensive as the private posh gyms. Dieting hasn't been brilliant for me recently. I've kind of given up hope. Although I have lost weight, I can't see it in myself and my clothes don't feel any different. I feel destined to be this way forever and I hate it. I used to get bullied at school about my weight and looking back now, I was so skinny. I don't know what happened really I'm meant to be getting married at some point, but there is no way that I can do it in my current state.

Leicester are out of the playoffs, but what a match!! We didn't make it easy for Cardiff at all. I didn't really want to see Cardiff or Blackpool in the final so I am torn as to which team I would rather see promoted. I think that I would rather Blackpool went up over Cardiff!

Leicester have Cardiff in the bag Johnny I'm so annoyed, my friend is getting married next weekend so I won't be able to go to the home match as I will be in Cornwall. It is on Sky though so may be able to watch a little bit... I don't know about Forest, they drew with S****horpe yesterday!

We are off to watch Leicester v Middlesborough on Sunday, should be a good match so I am looking forward to it.
